This is tough to decide on. I've gone out on my lunch hours off and on for the past two weekstaking photos of the colors. Didn't realize until I got home tonight that this was the topic for this week.

This one was taken at lunch today to enter into a contest forthe town I work in. I wish the shot could have been wider, but there are telephone wires across the top left hand corner and a pole just to the right.

(Trying again. Forgot to resize it, but the message seems to have gone through.)

This was taken about a week ago when we went up north. I did adjust the reds in this one. Assuming that's okay as it's something that could be done in the dark room.

That is a beautiful fall scene (#1)! I hope you win your contest!

I agree. Both are beautiful. Is that one of those plastic fences in the first shot? There are a lot of those around here and I think they look terrible.

Great shots.

Looks like another typical day in the fall in New England. Gosh, If I didn't know any better I would be racing down to my local travel agent

Great job.

The reds are wonderful in both shots. Nice shooting.

I'm finding the wonders of this 'challenge' overwhelming. I have a friend who managed to arrange himself a visiting professorship in the University of Vermont, and now I know why.

This lovely composition could clearly be entitled "More Graceful Bars and Rows in Seasonal Colour".

Both are beautiful shots. I particularly like the first one. The contrast of the white against the trees is wonderful.

Thank you everyone.

Selvin, are you suggesting you don't like the snow that will follow this? :-) Having been born and raised in southern California, I love the fall season out here. Never knew what I had been missing.

I don't know if this is a plastic fence or not. I'm not particularly crazy about plastic either, but sometimes it is the only way to go. Huck, where are you?
