Some shots taken last Friday. You may have seen these on the Pentax forum last weekend.

Really nice shots nhmom. The first one I am particularly interested in. I have a split field filter. I think with it you could have everything in the picture in focus including the leaves closest to the camera. Im not sure how to use the lens. So far it gives me a white blurry line in the middle of the picture. It would be really something if those leaves were in focus too.

I love the angle and colors in these shots.

Bynx, to get rid of that line, I think you have to use a fairly large aperture (low f-stop). Since each half of the filter has a different focal length, loss of DOF shouldn't be a problem. The effects may be different on different lenses. I have a Cokin multi-image filter that has similar problems and the solution is the same.

Thank you, everyone. I've been playing with different angles of things lately. And, trying different fstops to see what I like. I, too, wish the close leaves were in better focus. I'll have to check into that filter. I just got a fog filter and have been experimenting with that.

Photos later after I get home and in between the game. Got to watch my Red Sox!
