Really nice contrasting shots. For those of us in the South, the first has an almost alien beauty since it is so rare for us to see something that completely frozen.

Love the contrasts. Very good idea. Thanks for sharing with us "southeners".

When seasonal color is mention, generally we automatically think of the colors of the fall folliage. I think that most people fail to think of winter and the color white.

Beautiful shots.

Great shots.

I like seeing both the winter and fall.

Absolutely amazing. You were only standing a couple of feet left or right from each shot. I can make out the same branches and rocks in the water. Just excellent.

Did you like mark where you were when you took the first one and then go back later and take the second one? You are very close to the exact same spot.

I love the snow photo. It even looks cold.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

I have to confess though that since I was standing on the end of a bridge, it was easy to shoot from relativly the same spot. Given that, I should have been able to get even closer to the same shot but I didn't think of aligning the two shots until after I got home. I'd like to do spring and summer as well but I didn't notewhere I was standing so again it will be hit or miss.
