Not sure if I like these or not. I've been playing around with a new fog filter I got.

Nice dreamy effect. I like it. You could also stetch a nylon sock over the lens and get the same effect.

I like it on the first photo but not so much on the second, I really love the reds you have out there in your neck of the woods! It is mostly yellows and browns here.

A foggy effect from the filter and the bright sunny day seem to conflict with each other. Personally, I don't care for the effect in either photo. If the photos were converted to BW, I think the effect would be much more acceptable.

Thanks everyone for the input. I had thought about the fact that it wouldn't be foggy on a sunny day. But, to use the fog filter on a dreary day I thought would make things more drab than they already were.

Thanks for the tip on the nylon sock now, Bynx. I already bought the filter!:-)
