"And with respect to those not experiencing a season change, this challenge is wide open to any season."

I'd rather experience that "Ho Hum" than colored leaves and day!!
.....Speaking as someone who hates cold weather.

I hear ya about cold weather. I lived there while in graduate school at the U. of Chicago. I can feel the wind cutting through my clothing as I speak. Yet, a great city with great people and great food! Still have family there including my son who flies jets out of O'Hare.

Another member of the choir. I hate the cold too. Im a desert dweller. Your exposure on both these shots is perfect. I love the red glow coming from the Restaurant in your second shot. Another pleasure looking at your work Walter.

I thought that was a reflection from a window but it is the sign on the front of the restaurant--"Ruby's".

These are outstanding shots but what season do they represent and what seasonal colors?

Cal

Nice shots of the pier, I like the composition with the surfer and sun coming through the pier. Last time I took pictures to the HB pier it was abut 100 feet longer, spent many a day on the pier.
