Red, blue, green and even a little yellow all nice fall colors. Love the bright reds.

Gosh, Cal, your workload here is gigantic, and I, like everyone else, owe and wish youhuge thanks for yourefforts.

It'd be a miracle if you managed to readeverything. I was surprised that this post alone, uniquely, had no comment and few if any views from anyone at all. I think you'll find that this is very seldom true in this wonderfully active forum. That's why I wondered if there was a technical or timing error of some description that caused it to drop out of sight.

Big thanks, everyone for reassuring me, and apologies for artificially 'bumping' it back in public. I won't do it again.

I didn't want you all to miss the thorns among the rose hips. Did evolution want them to be eaten or not?

Season's Greetings, as we'll all be saying soon!

"Bumping" is frowned upon in any of Steve's forums. I believe it is mentioned in Steve's guidelines in the General forum--at least I think that's where it is. I've done it a couple times but managed to disguise it with an appropriate comment. My bad!

The rose hips look nice also but I'm not sure is you can eat them. I know they contain a lot of Vitamin C.
When you & I were children, Cal, thick, treacly 'Rose Hip Syrup' in hip-flask-shaped glass bottles was on the shelves in every British foodstore & pharmacy. It was fed to children neat by the spoonful, and horrifyingly to modern parents & grandparents & their dentists, slightly diluted in babies' bottles & dummies.
