I've been fascinated by the patterns in this field ever since the 'not very dilapidated' ploughing matchon 14th October. I've been hunting thisgiantletter "H" since the beginning of this 'challenge'. There's other letters if you wish.

The box on a pole is intended, I think, as home for owls. There are little touches like that here & there around thisset of fields.

There was wonderful lighting first thing this morning, andthree hours before I finally trapped the 'H', I spotted these'Vs' with a hint of 'W' and and a slightly sketchy 'D'.

Lower down there's a faint, remarkably coincidental very broad 'V' formed accidentallyby an unlikely lighting conjunction, which I'll explain if necessary.

If anyone can face yet another late dose of autumn colours with this morning's interesting lighting, you could take a stroll to http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...amp;forum_id=8

Alan, That is really thinking outside the box for your letters

As no-one's mentioned it, I thought I'd take the liberty of posting this edited clip from my second picture, showing the broad 'V' that I mentioned in its explanatory text.

As you can see, it's formed not as one would think when looking at the original or its 'challenge' version above. It's those blessed power lines again. They just happen to cross a beam of lightformed by the shadow of the nearby hill and a tree, cast by the low sun.

So once again my power lines aren't always bad, at least not for this 'challenge'.
