These are my kids. My son was home today due to an ice storm and my daughter home with a broken wrist. So I put them to work. They actually sound pretty good.

I think that is the smallest recorder I have seen. I have a plastic one that is about twice that size. I think is classified as F-Alto. I have tried to learn how to play it but have not gotten very far.

Nice photos.

Bynx,

I gotta tell you, the pose etc. makes the whole thing in the first shot look like it's from a Norman Rockwell poster.

Aloha and thanks for sharing.

I agree - Norman Rockwell!

It must have been difficult to play with the cast on the wrist.

Thanks guys, and yes bahadir my kids get along fantastically well. If one is out of sight the other always misses them. By the way Im surprised no one has commented on the musical score my son is using. I thought it was pretty funny.

My 9 and 5 year old kids arelike Tom and Jerry:-)Actually, I am in alarm when they are not in the view of sight :!:But as you say, they also miss each other when one is out : )

Anyway,I had noticed the unusual musical score with a picture(somehow!)reminiscent ofthe performer onits cover as well as the knicknack of Charlie Chaplin on the fireplace! However, I admit I made the mistake oftaking it for granted, considering humouran essentian componentof life in your home : ) Oh, please pass on my regards to both performers!
