As was mooching around our living room yesterday, (wondering how to shoot the evening's recorder rehearsal), with 'fabric' in my mind as well, I realised a nice juxtaposition of fabric textures & yarnswas staring me in the face. However, capturing anything much for this fortnight will be a very challenging challenge, for those with f/8 min. aperture, not very close closest focus, not many pixels, and no external flash facility.

But here's a go anyway...

...and here it is in context. It's "Shaun the Sheep" with his Mummy, on our living room settee.

The close-up reveals a wonderful world of textures missing from the "regular" view.

Very nice shots. You had me fooled in the first shot. I that that the fur in the lower left corner was the front paws of a dog.

Very nice, Alan.

Guess I'm clueless about Shaun the sheep.

Shaun is a TV cartoon spinoff by Aardman Animations (Nick Park) of a punningly-named hero ofthe Wallace & Gromit animated film 'A Close Shave'. Our soft toys are nothing to do directly with this, but when they were acquired years ago, the name was obvious.
