These little critters are invading my printer.

The quality of the shot is a marginal but in these times devoted to dangerous toys for tots I looked wistfully at my eco friendly reptiles. They don't sass, no mess, no feeding schedule, no fuss and environmental impact - minmal. My grandaughter and grandson used to be afraid and now they just ignore them.

These are made locally by filling a small fabric reptile with local sand. Actually I've seen similar stuff in a lot of museums.

These guys are cute. I've got a few nephews who would like them. And, their mother who would prefer the fabric kind!

Wonderful little guys to watch you work. Are they the beanbag kind?

Bahadir, Flutelady, Vsch1, Stitchbabe,

Thanks for your kinds comments. They are indeed a variation on the bean bag theme. Kids are naturally attracted to them. My grandkids had a ball while they were here in Honolulu.

Aloha
