What I want to know is how many shirts and dresses did you canabalize to get those buttons and who gets to sew them back on. Very creative shot.

Thanks. I didn't want just a photo of a pile of buttons.

Actually, this is frommy spare button collection. This was about half of what I have. Most of the buttons had been purchased in bulk for an Odyssey of the Mind project my team was doing a few years ago.

I wish I'd had my stepson's collection. When he was little he used to play with my mother-in-law's button collection which is about 20 times as large as mine. When my mother-in-law passed away, his aunt gave him the box of buttons as a memory of her. He still treasures it.

So, no one actually has to sew any of these on anything. Thank goodness!
