Taken several weeks ago when all of this started... We've had snow on the ground here since 21 Nov. I just moved back to NE, after being away for over 20 years, and now I'm starting to wonder why just a little bit.... Not really. After all, it is "The Good Life", even if it is cold.

Lovely cold, clear picture!

But time moves on! Twenty years ago I used to winter mountaineer and cross-country ski (in a minor modest British way); now I'm dreading the little bit of snow and hard frosts forecast for the next day or two.

There may be some nice pictures, though! Overcast gloom is more normal, however.

Great shot. Occasionally, we see ice coatings like that here in the Portland metro area from freezing rain. It really looks eerie like something from another world.
