Spent the last 5 days with family high above Lake Tahoe near the Heavenly ski resort area. Friday brought blizzard and white-out conditions, leaving behind 5-8 feet of new snow. This view from my daughter & son-in-law's back deck. Should be able to see the lake from this height (7800 ft), but not that day.

We hiked and sledded down to a little market, a couple of hundred yards away. Here's what we found.

Great work.

Walter,

Some pretty nice work especially the second shot. Those icicles say it all.

The white out conditions look scary and I would imagine when you are lost in its midst it's frightening.

Aloha

Walter, your shot of the local market & its ice is really nice and fits the challenge perfectly, but the shot of the lake next day is truly beautiful.
