Both are nice shots. The second one really tells a story

The second shot is a classic. You don't see these much anymore.

Guys, I live in Lima, Peru. Although it's a nice town with lots of things to do, it issmoggy and has a permanent overcast sky, both in winter and summer. Of course, winter is worse. I always have to be fixing my picture in photoshop. I was wondering if you could recommend some special settings and filters to counteract the inevitable gray.

Here is a picture of the beach during a winter month. I used Photoshop levels to make it come to life. Thanks for your comments!

BC, the challenge is "High Key-Low Key". Please explain how these photos relate.

Cal, these photos are dated January 20 2008. Ocelle bumped it up and posted his high key/low key here by mistake. I'll let you see this and then either you or i can move it to a new thread.

Ocelle's post is for criticism and comments forum. Its not a low key or high key photo and has nothing to do with timepieces. The only thing missing now is the Lone Ranger's horse.
