At a glance of the face you can see: Time by 24 hour hand. time by digital read out, time for sunrise, time for sun noon (set yellow sunstone at top), time for sunset, moon phase, time for moon set, time for moonrise. By using buttons you can bring up date of next full moon or new moon, or another time zone. Lighter color zone for most of upper area of face is time sun will be up.

Interesting watch for photographers.

A most interesting watch! It looks like you need a Doctorate Degree from MIT just to figure out how to read it and another to figure out how to operate it. What is the blue button/jewel at the bottom? Does that represent the new moon? Excellent photograph.

The blue stone is the moon stone, the yellow is the sun stone. It is fairly easy to read. The moon symbol at the bottom shows the phase visually (tonight is full moon), the light area in the middle shows sun up (left side dark line is sunrise, right side dark line is sunset. The smaller outside ring shows the moon time, light area is time the moon is up. The watch has over 580 cities that can be used to establish all functions, or you can set by lattitude and longtitude. Once you set the time everythin else is automatic.

Wow! That's some watch. Did it take a long time to learn how to read it?
