Hello,

I have never posted in the Bi Weeekly Shootout. So go easy one me.

I have three pictures of my oldest daughter. Two are in black & White and one in color. I should check on a limit before I go and post all three. But here is the first one for you to check out.

Thanks!

So I decided to place the two B&W pictures together so I could post the color pic as well. This shouldcover my two posts for the day. Hope this is good and I understood the guidelines correctly.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for making the effort to understand the forum guidelines. You'll find we are a friendly bunch. I love your first black and white shot. Really nice composition.

Both photos well done. The first is straightforward and the second one makes me wonder what she is looking at or thinking. And they both look good in black and white.

Yes, welcome!

Both shots are nice. I like the first, partly because of how the dark satin background sets her off.

Thanks for sharing.

Welcome,

Thanks for sharing.

I would give the second shot an edge because of the contemplative look. However that is purely personal.

The technical qualities of both shots are quite good and the BW treatment compliments her features very well.

I would also like to welcome you to the forum. I really like both shots, but the second has a bit of an edge just because she looks so deep in thought. You also have a very photogenic subject to shoot

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to seeing more from you.

You captured such serious expressions. Going to look for the color portrait.
