I wish the top of his head wasn't cut off, but looks great and I like the expression on his face.

He's a handsome fellow. Too bad hou didn't have a bit more time to compose the shot. As it stands, it's good but could be better as noted by Vanessa.

The composition looks fine to me, because the eyes are riveting. Who cares about a bit of hair? Excellent!

Thanks Alan. My thoughts exactly. In fact, I would say virtually all my favourite portrait shots are close and intimate such as the one of my son. I feel Im closer when there is a bit of top and bottom missing. Much like when you are actually standing close to someone. Looking them in the eyes you dont see the top of their head or the bottom of the neck either. But thats just me.

I guess I'll join the rest and also indicate the cropping of the hair is not a significant isssue. IN this case it may be a non-issue. Very nice candid portrait.
