This is Artiist Paint Pot in Yellowstone NP. It is basically boiling mud and other goodies coming up from underground. Very fascinating to watch.

Ah, yes, Artist Paint Pot. If I remember, correctly, Fountain Paint Pot is very similar.

Bynx, to answer your question, it is hot enough to boil you alive. If you stick your arm into it, the combination of heat and chemicals will probably strip all your skin. I don't recommend it!

Well, that would be one of those weight loss methods that's analogous to cutting off your arm. You lose some weight, but your life and health don't benefit much!

All kidding aside, Im sure that mud is sterile with plenty of chemicals which would be good for a skin pack. Isnt there someone close by with a spa selling the service?
