Amazing! I like the way you captured the water before it fell. Your timing allowed you to capture the shape of the balloon in the water. A half second later would be too late.

They have developed a small video camera in Japan which shoots at
2000 frames per second. It is a high-resolution, full color,
video cam which does not need a lot of light, as most high speed cameras do.
In a demo movie I received today, a yellow balloon has been filled with water
and is then pierced with a pin. The balloon disappears from around the water
exactly as your picture portrays. Its neat to see it actually happen. Anyone
interested in seeing this small movie 2.6 Mb file PM me and I can send it to
you.

Thanks, all. I read how to do this in one of my photo mags a few years back and this shoot out was the kick in the rear I needed to get out there and give it a try.
