Wow, nhmom... great photos (good you could get these from your archives)

I particularly like photo 2... those horizontal patterned clouds are spectacular, and the trees in the foreground act as a good natural frame.

Is that some smoke in the bottom parts (just above the trees..?) Or just the shadow / ways the light fell?

Thanks yesterday, Paul and Bob.

I remember it was a strange day. It had snowed all morning, then we kept getting patches of clear sky so decided to take the dog to the park. Upon returning to the parking lot the sky went from covered completely in clouds to, you could watch them separating and letting the blue sky show through. It was wild. The dark spots were where the clouds hadn't transformed yet. Five minutes before the clouds were all that dark.

The first one was taken 15 minutes after the second one.
