There is a wealth of photos available of the early days of Hot Springs, dating back to earliest days of photography. However, until I can get formal permission to post them, I will have to be content to linking to some of the "Then" pictures. Many of these have been collected by the Garland County Historical Society. For a hundred years, one of the most popular attractions has been Oaklawn Park, one of the nation's premiere thoroughbred tracks. The date on this shot is 1919.

As mugmar noted, very nice "now" shot. I think the effect would have been heightened if both shots were done on the same scale. Just a thought.
