If 50 minutes doesnt count as Then , how about 60 years? This is little Bynx circa 1948 and me today.

Clearly the scissor-wielding exercise was invigorating, as you've aged minus 10 years, and lost a few wrinkles. More a dynamic young upstart now, than an elder statesman,a professor, of digital photography.

#1 - if I remember correctly the challenge said something of 10+ years between the shots but I don't really mind to be honest, because the idea is nice.

#2 - there is a dramatic improvement in your modelling skills from picture 1 to picture 2, don't you agree? Looks much better and I don't mean the loss of hair here!

I guess I better read over the rules for this one. I tend to make assumptions. I also make waffles and great omelettes.

As for my modellng skills improving....its not that easy holding the camera at arms length and taking your own picture and making it look natural.

Actually, I think you did an excellent job with boththe self-portraits, but I think the second one is definitely the better shot.

Nice idea, Bynx. I like it. However, since this is Selvin's challenge, I leave it to his judgement whether it meets the challenge.

Bynx,

You really know how to push the envelope.

When I first looked at the photos I assumed that quite some time had passed between the shots. If you hadn't mentioned it I would have gone unoticed.

Technically, you've done a great job. Having tried self portraits I kknow exactly what you were up against. The lighting and composition are right on for hand held etc.

Unfortunately as thkn77 noted, my apologies no show.

Aloha

Bynx,

That fire of determination is still etched in that profile. nice to get the update and you do look a bit like Kenny Rogers.
