Now.

I am having a great time looking at these old photos and comparing them to more modern images. Time is so funny, change happens slowly for the most part and you don't really take notice until you see photos from different eras. This is main st, you can see the bank in my earlier photo down the street and to the right in both photos and there are still a few other building remaining from the past, I will leave them for you to pick out. I should have been standing further out in the street when I took the modern photo in order for it to line up better.

Nicely done, Bob.

The second shot reminds me of a photo that is on display in the main county building showing a street scene in Beaverton in the late 1800's. The main building in the shot is still in use today and has been used for a variety purposes ranging from a political campaign office to a tattoo/piercing parlour. If I can locate a copy of that photo and permission to publish it, I'll show the original photo and a photo of the scene today.
