Side view of Nashville's Union Station. Opened in 1900 as a passenger terminal for trains and street cars. As passenger service slowed and eventually stopped in the mid '60s, the building came under much disrepair. I took the first shot in the late '70s. In resent years the station has been completely remodeled and turned into a luxury hotel.

Any particular reason why street level has been chooped off in both shots with the "then" being most apparent?

Sort of gives the shot an incomplete look.

Thanks for sharing.
