Early morning, I saw this.... The anther is covered by the white coat

By Afternoon the anther shed its white coat and exposed its yellow polen for pollenation

Comments and suggestions are always welcome

Beautiful shots liu. Then it occurred to me they are very closeup shots of the reproductive organs. Naughty girl. :blah:

Gorgeous! I'm curious about your macro setup. I just got a set of 12, 20, & 36mm extension tubes that I intend to use with a 70-300mm & maybe an 18-200mm lens on a D300. But I don't think that combination will get the ratio you got, which I'm guessing is at least 2:1 on the 2nd shot.

Hi Dave,

This Lily flower is of moderate size .. so I won't say it is at 2:1 ratio
.

Well The cam used is Nikon D-70 with Sigma 105mm Lens

Thanks for viewing

Both shots are very interesting. I love the stamens swollen with pollen. That D70/sigma 105 combo is working well for you.
