Every year, the city of Portland, Oregon holds its annual Rose Festival, a celebration lasting about three weeks with many events. One of the key events in the festival is the Grand Floral Parade. This parade is similar to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses parade held on New Years Day in that all floats are decorated entirely in flowers, folliage, and other botanical materials. This is a float from the 1991 parade, a scanned 35mm slide.

Cal,

I've seen a lot of floral renditions of the flag and that one is pretty well done. Generally, the blue background of the stars is the hardest to emulate. Depending on your location, blue flowers are not always easy to come by.

Aloha
