San Diego's Balboa Park has several arched walkways where one can stroll from one museum to another, or to a theatre, fountain or arboritum.

Up the coast a few miles, closer to where I live, is the famous San Juan Capistrano Mission (where the swallows return annually).

Look just like I remember them in Balboa Park. The ones in San Juan Capistrano I've got photos from my grandparents visiting. Nice for this challenge.

I've been to Balboa park once while I was at Navy boot camp but I don't remember seeing the arches. Although I haven't been to the San Juan Capistrano mission, I have been the the Carmel mission which has very similar architecture.

Nice shots.
