This photo is a 5 shot HDR which accounts for the blue sky and the detail in the moon. It was taken in the evening after the sun went down and the sky was very dark to the eye.

Thanks for waiting till summer to show that one. It is over 90F today, so your picture cooled us off, if only in our minds!!

You must have taken those 5 shots very quickly! The moon doesn't look like it's moved at all....

Stitchbabe, its only 3 or 4 seconds between shots. Not enough time for anything to noticeably move much at all.

Its going to be hot and humid this weekend so I will be looking at this too remembering how cold it was.
