I thought I didn't have anything much to offer this time with my cheap little superzoom hybrid. Then I found this forgotten shot from the mists of time, takena whole 7 months ago on 4th November. This is a 1:1 clip from a 7Mpix image, sharpened.

KODAK Z712 IS
35mm focal length [mm]: 432
ISO value: 64
Shutter speed [s]: 1/25
Aperture: F4.8
Exposure bias [EV]: -3.0

So I think I might do better now with this machine than my 1999 OM-10 and camcorder efforts, should another total solar eclipse happen by.

Its a shot like that, that makes people think the moon is made of cheese. My guess is Cheddar. By the way, Ive been to Cheddar. Nice town, and Cheddar Gorge was beautiful.

These crescent moon shots always seem to have more drama and depth than a full moon shot. I think it is because of the shadows. Great work.
