Taken in 2003 while fishing with my husband. Well, actually, I was filming his fly casting techniques and catching the moon.

Very nice Patty, I love the framing of the moon with the branches and the whole silhouette thing works really well too.

Wonderful composition. Like gnarled fingers reaching vainly for the moon.

Very nice. This is what I meant when I said try to capture the moon in a nice landscape setting. This setting is not romantic but is superb.

Thanks everyone. When I had first taken this series of shots I hadn't even noticed the moon was up there until I was previewing on my screen. Then, repositioned to get this shot with the branches reaching out towards it. Glad you liked it. I knew I'd have a need for it some day.:-)

I have not had much luck getting any new shots. It's been raining or cloudy every night since we started, until tonight. But, there is so much haze from the heat and humidity that it's hard to capture. Will continue looking.
