Full moon rising tonight through the atmosphere, and peeking through the branches of a tall palm tree. Canon 40D, EF 400 5.6L. Cropped.

Wow Walter C, Moon just at the 3rd position with tree branch as a frame... Very nice shot , excellent...

Nicely done, Walter. Now...inquiring minds want to know how you got the full moon last night when it really doesn't happen until today! Yes, I know a day either side doesn't make much difference for a photo.

Last nights moon was spectacular. i was excited to come to the forum and see what yoou all came up with. Even though this was taklen the night before, Walter you did an aswesome job, Love the slight image of the branches.

I went outside at 10 PM last night to look for the full moon. Had clear skies but NO MOON! I'm not sure when moonrise is around these parts.
