I was at local park this week and shot this. This was one of the many paths that lead out of the gourge.

Beautiful spot. Tough exposure condition right at the point where the deep shadows meet the bright sunlight. Nice posting.

Hi Zippy,
Welcome to the forum. We do a lot of interesting and, sometimes crazy things here. This is a great shot, though a few blown highlights. In digital photography, where there is danger of blowing highlights (which cannot be corrected in the computer) it is better to underexpose the original photo and make adjustments in the editor. If any of you have shot print film, you that just the opposite is true.

Where is this located? There is a park in McMinnville, Oregon which has a very similar stairway.
