The Spaniards established missions all along the California coast more than 200 years ago. One of the most famous is the San Juan Capistrano Mission between Los Angeles and San Diego.

Fountains, flowers, shaded archways make strolling the paths through this mission a visual delight.

Walter,

I often wondered what the Capistrano Mission looked like having heard the song so freuently. I assume this is the mission house mentioned in the song about Capistrano.

I noted the 'El Camino Real" bell out front. Thanks for sharing.
