This in one taken a while back of a local greenway. Nashville is really starting to realize the greenways are a good thing and it gets people out walking, running, biking, etc.

Nice shot Mugmar. But I think I would crop it about an inch from the bottom where the path breaks at the crest. That way you eliminate the out of focus grassy area and the path then moves out of frame nicely.

Nice shot, Mugmar. I see what Bynx is saying, but I don't think I agree. I think leaving that area in the frame adds to the impression of the hill, increasing the depth.

I like the shot. Cropped, it would not be the same. I like the way the path crests the hill and immediately curves left. My eyes were immediately drawn to that spot.

I like the original because I can imagine the foot or two of vertical drop hidden behind the brow (with speedhump or culvert?) on the path near the bottom, lying in wait for unwary cyclists, skatersor rollerbladers as they concentrate on cornering well.

Beautiful picture. I love the curve of the walkway - whoops pathway.

Thank you for the comments all. Here is another shot taken from the same spot at the same time, This one was 95mm while the other was 250mm. Both were F-stop 14. I am drawn more towards the first shot due to the compression of the greenway to make the hills look steeper than they are.
