Sidewalks in the downtown area, just across the street from the National Park, are crowded during the day, but at night, the path is quiet

This is kind of strange for the middle of the summer, the height of the tourist season. Very few walkers were out tonight, but this gentleman was enjoying the quiet stroll.

Good night shots, Trojansoc. Did you use a tripod or monopod?

Thanks for the compliments. Both shots were handheld...Pentax K20d, Sigma 18-50 f2.8 lens....21mm, ISO 1600, f2.8. The first at 1/30 and the second at 1/80...each with shake reduction on.

Paul.

Nice, Paul. A peaceful nighttime pathway.

I really like the second one. The solitary man walking down the sidewalk looking for lost youth. (or maybe just a good deal at the store!!)

Both are nice shots. Tell us more about the mannequin in the first shot. I am wondering what kind of place that is??
