Taken Sunday in Newport, RI. The kids on the playground wanted to know if their photo was going in the newspaper :-) Were disappointed when I told them no. They were curious why I was taking a photo of a slide and a bridge.

Patty

Both are very nice, but #2 is a clever capture of the challenge. Well done!

The second photo looks like the use of too much polarizing filter. The sky is darkened but the slide got the treatment also. The first shot is great.

I have several hundred photos of playground equipment. I can't seem to keep my camera away from all the bright colors!

Thanks, everyone.

Cal, I did have a polaring filter on the lens. But having to get on the ground to get the shot, did not even adjust it. Just took it however it ended up once I got the composition the way I wanted.

Yes, the colorful playground is what attracted me there. Then, once I got there realized it had some great pathways in it.
