These look a whole lot better in PS as web browsers don't have proper colour management, but anyway, here is some shallow dof.

Hi Gerafix

Both are interesting photos, and clearly display a shallow depth of field.

I really like the flower photo's colours. I am interested how it might have looked with a bit more stem of the main two flowers (towards the left of the photo) and taken in a portrait orientation.

What is that second photo of? Water... but what and how?

Thank you, yes I was entirely focused on the one on the left that is following the rule of thirds, didn't think of the other two really. Thank you for the suggestion. Yes it is water from a fountain (multiple streams so that is the bokeh you see), so I did rotate it, I liked it better this way. It reminded me of a galaxy. Did not consider rotating it 'digital manipulation.'
