We've been having a deluge of rain. Of course the worst of it was last week when we were camping in the mountains. As bothersome as the rain can be however, it creates some beautiful scenes. These two shots are of the Pemigewasset River (the Pemi to locals) in the White Mountains. The shots are taken near the headwaters of Profile Lake.

The slow camera speed is due to being in the woods on a cloudy day. I have a thing about shooting at ISO 100 whenever possible.

Nice shots Yesterday.

I really like the second one.The curve in the water flow really adds to it. I'm not a huge fan of the silky water, but it really works on that one!!

Beautiful shots, Yesterday. I sent Walt the link. This is where he's been fishing numerous times. Just passed by there today, but couldn't see the headwaters from the road. Although, it did look full to the banks.

My vote is on the second shot although both are great.. In the second shot, the water almost looks like it was painted in oil on a canvas.

Thank you all for your comments. In spite of the rain, there were a lot of opportunities for pictures. The rivers were spectacular last week.
