I love seeing a peaceful setting in Colorado with water so I can slow it down. I'd like to be here now.

I won't be posting any new photos for a bit. My house was broken into this past Friday and the person stole my Canon 20D and Canon 40D along with lenses, battery packs etc. They also took other items and money/jewelry a laptop computer. Insurance will cover the loss but have to wait for that process to happen.

Anyways.....I have photos like this to remind me of peaceful happenings.

Thanks for looking

Mandy

Well THAT'S a bummer! Having your home robbed really leaves you feeling somehow violated and vulnerable. It happened to us years ago; fortunately in those days we didn't have much that was really valuable to take. However they took the junk anyway. Your photography is soimaginative I know that when you do get replacement equipment we will see some wonderful stuff. This little waterfall is serene and lovely. I love them in all shapes and sizes. Hang in there--Angie

 The Dirty Stinkin Skunks! Hopefully they will be caught.
I am so sorry to hear this. Perhaps a big, sharp-toothed dog is in your furture.
As always, a beautiful photo Mandy.

Best of luck,
Steve

Lovely, Mandy! So peaceful.

Am sorry to hear of your break in. You are the second person in the past week I've heard of robbed. I hope you are feeling secure soon and get your replacements quickly.

So sorry to hear about your loss, Mandy. It makes one wonder what this world is coming to. The perpetrator probably pawned everything for about 10 ยข on the dollar and bought drugs with the money.

I love your fuzzy water treatment of the falls. Beautiful!

Cal

Oh Mandy, I'm so sorry to hear that!
I can say that I really can empathize with you.
I have been the victim several times. Fortunately since I got a dog and a sign on the gate that reads "beware of dog," I've had no problems. The sign is much more vicious than the dog. If someone came in she might lick them to death. Hope all is well for you soon.

Thanks everyone. We are now dealing with the slow process of the insurance getting their part done. They will release a little money to get started on the replacement of items and then we have to send them those reciepts then they will release more money.....long process but what can ya do?

They did catch the guy. Only had the jewelry in his possession. The cameras and gear along with the laptop are already gone.

Will keep viewing all the great pics on here and hopefully soon I'll be back on with some new photos of my own.
