I love to see a dog enjoying itself in the water. I think our Sheltie, Annie (see avatar), would really enjoy the water but with her long coat, it would take a couple hours for it to dry after she got out.

[align=left]Our average summer temperature in Eilat in the shade is to 104 - 107. We take our dogs to the beach only early in the morning or very late in the afternoon. Drying off is not an issue. This lovely lab, named Speedy, belongs to my frieends. My lab, Charlie, does not want to leave the air conditioning even to go swimming.
