Hello Yesterday, today and tomorrow…:G
Both are superb photos! Whatever you're doing, keep it up! It's funny, when I first saw these pics, I looked to see what state you were in because it looked like home, then I see where you say you were on vacation here. Just for reference sake the first is called an "Anhinga" as Mugmar pointed out. The Great Blue Heron is one of my favorite birds. The pose you got with such nice detail and background is fantastic. Seems like the only time I can get near one, it's in the shade on an overcast day with a slow lens and no hope of getting anywhere near this good a shot. These birds can measure up to 5 feet tall with their necks stretched out. Quite a sight when you see one standing high in a tree!:-)GW
