Here, as a parting shot for this challenge, is yet another 'mountain & campervan' shot from our outing on Friday. Tryfan, the peak of the Friday a week before, is on the right. Our camper van is the brightest white spot by the lakeside.

The road through the Nant Ffrancon Pass below is the 'coach road',now the A5 highway from London to Holyhead, for the crossing to Ireland, an often rebellious piece of the historically enormous British Empire. At present, Scotland & Wales are well on the way to getting away from England!

The route was built by Telford with many remarkable & pioneering pieces of civil engineering, planned in 1811 and begun in 1815. My son intends to study history, and it's always fascinated me. We're surrounded by it.

Beautiful picture. You are a long way from that camper van. Did you hike all that way?

Wow--what a parting photo! It's totally wonderful. You live in such a beautiful area; and you really know how to showcase it! Great job. Angie

Simply stunning photograph. The colours and composition are just perfect! My friends always complain about the UK, "It's too cloudy!" "I'ts too cold!" But just look at that view! I think we are lucky, not unlucky to be British!

Recently i went for a trek up Moel Fammau, i presume you know it, it was very enjoyable,a little tiring, but nothing a Sausage Roll couldn't fix!

Super Shot!
