A couple of shots from a Saturday morning gathering of car buffs at a local donut shop. This 1950's Chevy truck had a nice bed cover that gave off a good reflection.

And, this 60's classic Corvette reflects its twin taillights in the chrome bumper.

Walter,

As a fellow "car guy" I really like these.

The second one would be so much nicer to me if it had the entire curve of that bumper though.

Chrome bumper...what's that?! I haven't seen one of those for a long time. I love both shots.

A thought occurred to me a few days ago. You can tell you're getting old when you hear "antiquities" and "1960's" in the same sentence! I graduated from high school in 1963 so I must be an antiquity!

I really like the composition of both shots, Walter. Nice job.

Being a car buff Im sure you can appreciate this Walter. This car was built by N2A motors (No Two Alike). Cost is $40,000 over the cost of a new Corvette C6 (MSRP $44,000). Unbelievable! The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles. It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation '789'.

When I received these pics today the color of the car was black and robins egg blue. I changed the blue to red.

Wow! A Nostalgamobile! Wouldn't that be fun to cruise down Main Street in on a Saturday night. Well, it would have been back when everyone was on Main Street instead of in the malls. Thanks for sharing that, Bynx.
