I went up in the mountains of Northwest Arkansas today and came back with several shots that meet this challenge. Using a rotating mirror effect on some small purple flowers produced this effect

While an effect called Feedback gave me this

Both manipulations are using PSP.

Paul,

Very nice original and that's a handy manipulation in PSP.

I am so accustomed trying to figure out how to do that infinity jazz in real life I get frustrated a lot. An angle is just abit off, a shadow gets in the way or worse yet your hand gets in the way.

The wonders of technology.

I think I would call the first shot "Basket Weaving". The lower part of the photo looks exactly like a woven basket.

The second shot should be called "Infinity". Your eyes are immediatly drawn to the disappearing center point.

Great work.

Actually neither of them is an original, although they were made from different original shots. On #1, the original lacked the symmetry of the manipulation.

Cal, I see your "Basket Weaving" idea on the first, but I thought first of a Tiki idol with a large headress...lol.

Selvin's right--technology is wonderful. It's amazing what you can come up with some of the special effects in a program as powerful as PSP.
