Few of the trees have turned around here, but I found this lonely little oak that had one cluster of leaves still attached.

Paul, that is a very nice photo but it does not meet the challenge. The challenge requires that one color dominate the entire image. You have two or three colors here.

I don't agree, Cal. It depends on how you interpret the word "dominate." If it is asimple mathematical calculation of the number of pixels represented by that color, then you would be correct. If a single color is the focus of the composition, then this photo meets the criteria.

Well, Selvin is going to have rule on this one. I've been shot down because one of my photos was only 2/3 yellow. Selvin has shot down several others. I think he is looking for photos containing 90% or more of one color.

Selvin, please step in and moderate this discussion.

Adding hot wax coating should solve the question....lol.

Its probably just me but I love the wax coating version. Youve gone from an ordinary photo to something very eye catching. Something Id hang up. Nice job. And it meets the challenge to boot.
