I like this one. The effect seems to match the original photo extremely well.

Thats a pretty neat effect. Id have probably turned the photo into a night shot first then applied the light. Also made the yellow light a little transparent. But it does show the possibilities. I know you use PSP. What is the filter called that makes the yellow light and the radiating beams?

I played around with different brightness levels and colors. As I recall transparency was not controllable. The filter is called "Sunburst" and is in the Illumination Effects menu.

In trojansocs thread Two New Ones To Play With, I did the torch bit. It would have looked nice if I had that starburst. As it is she looks silly just holding up the empty torch.

Your wish is my command (at least one wish!)

I used a paler shade of yellow and reduced the brightness of the light a bit. I did not include the infamous salt shaker as seen in my original shot. Here it is:

I like the actual light on the torch but I dont like the rays coming down over the faces and monkey as heavy as they are. Perhaps a subtle vignette of the beams so they are very transparent by the time they cover faces. Maybe if the beams were more yellow like your original they wouldnt look so much like scratches. Your work here is a definite improvement. Thanks. This might work better with the light if the sky were night instead of day.
