My son turned 2 back in August. And while I love getting him to try and play catch and such I enjoy even more taking him to the park: sticks, stones, leaves - man it's great to watch kids invent their own toys. To him, the world is full of toys (except of course the toys I explicitly buy him which he tends to ignore :-))

Really wonderful shots, John. Nothing better than the joy of a child creating new opportunities for fun.

Beautiful shots, John.

I don't know how many "toys" I threw away that my son had over the years. (He's 23 now.) Things I thought were trash he had made into these elaborate things. I learned after a while to ask first. He had quite an imagination. And, still does!

I love your second shot. He is so deep in thought in his own little world :-)

Both are great shots. I really like the first one. He sure is fascinated about that stick. Your DOF is great and the rule of thirds adds to the photo.

Both are lovely candid shots.

The first grabs my attention I think more because of the better lighting and his facial expression is looking upwards.

Aloha and thanks for submitting.

Very nice capture. Did you use a fill flash? Looks like he found water with that dividing stick. :-)
