This was was taken this summer in Hawaii



It was the first swimming lesson for the pup....who, of course, wound up with the only dry towel



and yes, Dad hates the former naval airman's tatoo....:roll:

Can't resist posting this follow-up my son sent me. This is that little puppy just a few months later, excited about going to the beach.

Who is the person at play? The dog or your son? I think the dog is having more fun.

I saw a qoute somewhere recently that read something like this:

"A boy needs two things: A dog, and a mother that will let him have one."

I remember when our Husker dog was that little. He's closing on 13 years old now though...

Nice shots. I guess there's going to be a new puppy in the White House. I wonder who gets to clean up after it. I am guessing the White House staff!
