This time my daughter. She was hot and wanted to go to the local pool. Dad was too tired for that, but the yard needed some water. Plus it made for a good excuse to get some more shots with that new camera....

That water is pretty cool. She thought she better check...

Great shots. Looks like the new camera is working.

Wonderful, I like the "natural" look. I like those "capture the moment" shots - the safest way to scare me away is throwing me a "cheeese" smile (but pssst - don't tell anybody!).

I love'em both but the second is, by far, the best in my opinion. Is there any kid who doesn't like to play in the sprinkler. In downtown Portland, Oregon, there is a large fountain that shoots up from the concrete. In the summertime, there are so many kids there, it is almost impossible to get a photo of the fountain. The fountain is called the Salmon Springs Fountain.

Natural smiles for me too thkn777! I took some photos of our church group recently on a trip to a pumpkin patch. I put them on CDs for the parents and printed 1 photo of a member of each family. Someone asked my wife if I did protraits, I won't. She said if you want a "fly on the wall" photographer though, I am your man. :|

Cal - I know I loved playing in the sprinkler too. We even staged firefighter style water fights on my mom's clothes line with a coffee can. That probably had something to do with my father being a fireman and several of my friends fathers as well....
