I work in a middle school special education setting. Each year our kids help prepare and serve a full holiday dinner for the entire staff and all their parents--we usually serve over 175 people. Today was the day to decorate the 300 sugar cookies that had been mixed and baked earlier this week. As he admired the long table of goodies one of our sixth graders said "Mrs. I, that's lotsa cookies!"
I had been taking shots of the decorating process, but here is one of the end result. It's hard to pack them all away for a week!

Love the perspective from whichthe shot was taken. Nice depth of field too with the individual sugar crystals quite visible on some of the cookies.

Aloha and thanks for sharing.

Aaahhh, thats a nice picture of the Caloric Sea. A sea of calories located somewhere near my nose. Im quite partial to that place. Another name you could give this picture is A Quilt of Many Calories. Some of those and a nice cup of coffee woud sure keep me warm. Thanks spedangie for sharing this with me. Wish I could share those cookies with you.

It's cruel for me to see such a tempting field of calories as I'm sipping my morning coffee. Echo Selvin's comments on the nice perspective of the shot.

I will echo the great perspective. i like how the shot is almost entirely cookies.

It sounds like a huge undertaking for you and the kids.

What is cruel is showing that photo to a diabetic! The depth of field is good but I would like to see the lighting improved.
